Our Story
The General Practitioner – Oakleigh & District has been providing quality healthcare to the local community for over four decades. Originally known as Oakleigh and District Health Centre, we rebranded to better reflect our commitment to comprehensive, patient-centred general practice care.
Located in the heart of Hughesdale at 139 Warrigal Road, our clinic is a warm, welcoming space designed with patient comfort in mind. With on-site pathology collection through Melbourne Pathology and ample street parking, we make it easy to access the care you need close to home.
Our practice serves families across Oakleigh, Hughesdale, Murrumbeena, Carnegie, and surrounding suburbs. We believe in building lasting relationships with our patients and providing continuity of care across all stages of life.
Our team of experienced GPs brings together diverse expertise in areas including preventative medicine, women's health, children's health, skin cancer medicine, and aged care. We're proud to be a teaching practice affiliated with Monash University, contributing to the training of the next generation of doctors.
